Assignments:

AP- Chapter 17 Sheet Due Thursday. You should be reading Chapters 17-19 to get an overall feel for the issues.

C1- Test on Federal Government Tuesday
- State Government in class on Wednesday
- Webquest due Monday
- Topic for Research Paper due WEDNESDAY 12/12/07
What you need:
* Idea- can be anything between 1763-1877
* CANNOT be a biography or REPORT on a simple topic. You must be RESEARCHING something like the Women's Movement, The Impact of Immigration on Industry, or The Economic Changes of the US from 1763-1877. If you have questions SEE ME
* This must be HANDED IN on a sheet of paper for me to review

Honors- Presentations in class. Remember that your paragraphs for each group that presents are due in class the DAY AFTER THE PRESENTATION! Case briefs are due DURING your presentation.

C1- Presentations in class. Case Briefs are due IN CLASS on the day of YOUR PRESENTATION.


A note to all students: I will not be in school on Wednesday, 11/28/07- I will be at a conference.

AP- I will be leaving a worksheet- Complete it for Thursday, along with Chapter 16 sheet. We will be beginning Chapter 17 on Friday.

Both C1s and Honors 3: I will be leaving UPFRONT magazine. Again, read through, and pick ONE article that really strikes you! Write me a response paper of AT LEAST 3 paragraphs and one full page (front) in length. This is due AT THE END OF CLASS WEDNESDAY!

Tuesday: I will be out today!

AP- Please go see "Scapin" in the Auditorium. Analyze how the "fool" is an historical figure and where we can locate this figure throughout American History

All Classes (except 5/6 C1)-
* You will be reading a magazine in class called "Upfront". I want you to read through, paying particular attention to the last couple of pages, and write a 1 page reaction paper to a story of your choice. This will be COLLECTED at the end of the period.


Wednesday:
