Week of 9/8/08

Welcome to United States History with Ms. Scharf!

This week, in US I, we worked on group projects regarding the 13 original colonies. Over the course of the next month, we will complete the 13 colonies and learn about the causes and results of the American Revolution.

In Advanced Placement this week, we completed our summer assignments by taking the test on Chapters 1-6 and handing in our summer essays. We also began Chapter 7.

HW for the weekend of 9/12-9/14:

Honors 1/2: Read Brinkley Chapter 3- Study! Possible "quizzle" on Monday!

Advanced 3: Read Holt Chapter 3- Study! Possible "quizzle" on Monday!

APUSH: You should be completing your reading of Brinkley Chapter 7 and working on your homework sheet. That is due on Monday. You also have your free response essay due Monday. Once you complete Chapter 7, you should immediately move on to Chapter 8.
